I had so much fun making this card. It’s a great one to welcome a new neighbor, or just to say “Hi!” The apples are definitely crisp golden delicious and make a pretty presentation inside the mason jar.
I used the Perfectly Preserved stamp set and matching Framelits Dies from the 2012 Holiday Mini. Stampin’Up bundled these together and offered them at a discounted price. This is such a versatile set – expect to see more of it in my future posts. The Daffodil Delight Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper and 2012-2014 In Color Gumball Green Designer Series Paper look strigingly beautiful together. To give the table scarf a little detail, I used the Festive Paper Piercing Pack and the coordinating Framelits Dies Window Frames Collection, both from the 2012 Holiday Catalog. Of course, it’s always “all in the details”, and the details here just make it all happen. I used Whisper White Bakers Twine and spritzed it with a little Daffodil Delight ink. The most luxurious ribbon I have ever worked with is the new 2012-2014 In Color Midnight Muse Stitched Satin Ribbon. Simply gorgeous! Not sure about you, but this card makes me want to fill up the tea kettle and kick back with a good book!
Enjoy your day, and
Express your creativity,
Way to go Mom! Yes, she is my mother and yes I am her #1 fan! However, her best work is not on her blog, why? I don’t know! She has designed cards for Communions, Christenings, Baby’s 1st Birthdays, Baby Showers, Wedding Showers; she even designed my friend’s seating cards for her wedding and table numbers! This woman is a pure creative genious! You will NEVER be disappointed in her work because she takes pride in it and to top it all off she loves what she does. God’s Speed Expessivly Deb!
