Picture Frame Thank You

My inspiration for this card came from Stampin' Up!'s "Stampin' Success" Magazine.  I changed it up a bit, as I do most of the time, adding my own "signature" to designs I come across, but the Magazine inspired me to create and that's what it's all about!  This card was suprisingly easy and very enjoyable to put together.

I would like to share something I read recently….I don't remember exactly where I saw this, but the author's name is "Cheryl" (no last name given).  Here goes…

"Do you know one of the most important human attributes is CREATIVITY?  We use creativity for our biological needs, to prolong our life, and the lives of people for whom we care, to reduce pain and suffering, and to bring beauty, meaning and joy to our lives. … Nurturing creativity in oneself and others ….."

I'll add the following….is just as important as …

I'm going to leave the rest up to you!

I didn't have all the supplies Stampin' Up! used in my "inspiration card", but I loved the idea of the "picture frame" and raised front panel, so I went with what I had to make it my own. That's the beautiful thing about creating and sharing, and that's why I send sincere thanks to all who pop in on my blog…I hope you find some inspiration here to create, give it your own signature, and share.

For this card, I used:

  • Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip and Raspberry Ripple Polka Dot DSP Card Stock
  • Chocolate Chip ink
  • Oval Punch
  • Picture Frame Framelits
  • Fancy Fan Embossing Folder
  • Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons and Linen Thread and Dimensionals

Hopefully, more color tomorrow.  I'm not sure what will happen, but do check in.

Hope you enjoy, and remember…
