Another Paper Players Color Challenge, and this one is bright and cheerful! The colors are Regal Rose, Pool Party, Lucky Limeade and Early Espresso! Wow!
Since the colors are so bright and “catchy”, I chose to go with a Clean and Simple look (CAS), with lots of white and lots of dimension. Stampin’ Dimensionals are a wonderful card making staple, and I used plenty of them for this card.
Stampin’ Up!’s Secret Garden Bundle (stamp set and matching framelits) was made for a card like this. Each framelit matches the stamp perfectly, so it makes it easy to create such a beautiful “shadowbox” look.
This is a standard A-2 card base (4 1/4″ X 5 1/2″), with a 4″ X 5 1/4″ top mat; both in Whisper White. The Secret Garden Flowers are stamped with Regal Rose, Pool Party and Lucky Limeade ink.
My Happy Birthday sentiment is from the From My Heart stamp set and stamped with Early Espresso ink. I hand cropped my banner.
For a little embellishment, I used 3/16″ Whisper White brads from Stampin’ Up!’s Neutrals Collection.
I had fun creating for another Paper Players Color Challenge, and I hope you enjoy this card.
WOW Debbie – this card is simply beautiful. Love the CAS design and such an effective use of Secret Garden set.
