Sent With Love

Happy Sunday!

We had such a beautiful, bright sunny day yesterday, and are due for a repeat today, so I thought I’d post a cute, bright card.

This is a definite “Quick & Easy”, and the Simply Sent Designer Series Paper is doing its job with overtime!

Island Indigo and Calypso Coral are beautiful together, and Pool Party is not only a great contrast, but gives this card a nice Clean and Simple look. It’s all about the beautiful trendy colors and the patterned paper.

I took a little step out of my comfort zone today and went with a narrow, longer card rather than the standard A2 card (5 1/2″ X 4 1/4″).

Here are the dimensions:

• The Calypso Coral card base is 7″ X 6 1/4 and scored at 3 1/8″;
• The “ledger paper” strip of DSP is 7″ X 1 1/2″;
• I punched three 1 3/8″ squares with Pool Party and three 1 1/4″ squares with the DSP, notice that the third layered square has the heart strategically placed in its center.

• The Designer Series Paper squares are attached using dimensionals.
• I used the Sycamore Street Buttons from Sale-A-Bration embellished with some Linen Thread.
• The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set.
• By the way…this card does fit comfortably in a standard No. 10 envelope.

This is definitely in the running for my Stamp Camp on Friday. I think the ladies will enjoy this one.
