Happy Thursday!
Yesterday, my flowers were pink, and today they're blue…Blue for the Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge! The colors are beautiful cool spring hues: Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue and Marina Mist.
It took a little while for me to come up with an idea for the April Color Challenge, but once I decided on the Bloomin' Marvelous stamp set, it was a breeze…a beautiful, spring cool breeze!
This is a Clean and Simple card and, I would say two notches up from a "Quick and Easy", but that's only because I decided to fussy cut the flowers. The cutting took a little time, but not much. The detail in the stamped flowers is perfect. No embellishment needed. My swirly "vine" is from the Everything Eleanor stamp set.
I hope you notice that this card is another perfect example of my Design Tip #3, "The Rule of Thirds"….and I have three flowers! (Remember the imaginary tic-tac-toe board over the card face?)….it's all BY DESIGN!
I am working on a few more "Design Tip" posts which I plan to have up over the next few days.
Thank you for your kind comments on the design tips. I'm glad they've been helpful.
Gorgeous – and just my style 🙂
