There’s a lot more than the gorgeous Modern Medley Designer Series Paper going on in this very “classy” card. I love the medallions, love the “no color” combination, and love the great new Mojo Monday challenge sketch contest.
This sketch, Stampin’ Up!’s new Happy Day stamp set, a few punches and some Designer Basic Pearls were just what I needed to get my stampin’ mojo back. I had myself some real quality time tonight just playing and enjoying creating for another challenge.
My inspiration for the medallions came from my “fearless Pals Leader”, Mary Fish. I checked in on Mary’s blog today and saw her very creative use of color. Believe it or not, Mary inspired me to go with “no color” and work with the beautiful medallions. Remember a while back in my “Card Design Series” posts, I talked about black, white and all the neutrals really having no color. Well, today’s card technically has no color, and isn’t it pretty?
Once again, the stamped images are so finely detailed that no matter how you use them, your project is sure to be a success.
It’s been quite a few days since I posted here. My daughter’s Bridal Shower was on Saturday. I had lots of last minute details to work out and did a lot of stamping for the occasion. I’ll post all of that tomorrow.
I’ll also be catching you up on all that’s been happening at Stampin’ Up! Some great new promotions and the launch of the new 2013-2014 Catalog.

Nice way to comeback, my friend!
You always make me smile! Thanks.
Beautiful card
Love the black and white card, Debbie. I just used medallions on a recent card, and your right, you can’t go wrong with the details on the medallions. TFS
Beautiful, Love the black and white!
Very beautiful!
