Today's post is all about Clean and Simple. I was inspired today by the new Sketch Challenge #101 over at Freshly Made Sketches.
This sketch is purely "Clean and Simple". The possibilities are endless for some beautiful projects, so let's get started on this one:
- I looked through my stamps and decided Simply Sketched (Hostess) would be the one. The dimensions of the stamped images were perfect for the vertical layer. There are three beautiful images in this set and each would work.
- Because of the softness of the stamped image, I wanted my colors soft and pretty. Sahara Sand and Soft Sky are beautiful together, and two of the patterns from Sweater Weather Designer Series Paper were an easy match.
- I used my Blender Pen and Ink Pads to soften up my stamped edges and add some color…but very lightly.
- "Best Wishes" is from the Express Yourself (Hostess) stamp set…the size of the image is perfect for my sentiment banner.
Not only is this card Clean and Simple, it's a "Quick and Easy"!
My new Framelits Envelope Liners make it very easy to create a matching lined envelope.
I love this card and your take on the sketch! So clean and pretty.
