Had to check in with Freshly Made Sketches today and what a cute sketch. Over at FMS, they're always clean, simple and fun!

Yesterday, I spent some time with my daughter and son-in-law who are so excited to be celebrating their first Christmas together in their new home. Their excitement got me going, so I started playing my Christmas music and getting a few things ready around the house. Oh What Fun!!!

What's better than a Clean and Simple, Quick & Easy snowman. He's from Stampin' Up!'s Best of Snow stamp set, as is the Snowflake, and the sentiment is from Christmas Messages in the Holiday Catalog.

  • I really do enjoy seeing Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake together. To me, the combination is casually relaxed;
  • I added a quick striped layer from the Season of Style Designer Series Paper, used the scallop framelit from the Thinlits Circle Card Die and layered a cropped circle from the Circles Collection Framelits… just love those Framelits
  • The snowman is stamped with Crumb Cake ink and I added a little color with some ink and my blender pen.
  • A quick Old Olive 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon embellishment and we're good to go.

Thanks for stopping by today. So pull out your stamps, ink and your favorite DSP and create something beautiful!
