Had to check in with Freshly Made Sketches today and what a cute sketch. Over at FMS, they're always clean, simple and fun!
Yesterday, I spent some time with my daughter and son-in-law who are so excited to be celebrating their first Christmas together in their new home. Their excitement got me going, so I started playing my Christmas music and getting a few things ready around the house. Oh What Fun!!!
What's better than a Clean and Simple, Quick & Easy snowman. He's from Stampin' Up!'s Best of Snow stamp set, as is the Snowflake, and the sentiment is from Christmas Messages in the Holiday Catalog.
- I really do enjoy seeing Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake together. To me, the combination is casually relaxed;
- I added a quick striped layer from the Season of Style Designer Series Paper, used the scallop framelit from the Thinlits Circle Card Die and layered a cropped circle from the Circles Collection Framelits… just love those Framelits
- The snowman is stamped with Crumb Cake ink and I added a little color with some ink and my blender pen.
- A quick Old Olive 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon embellishment and we're good to go.
Thanks for stopping by today. So pull out your stamps, ink and your favorite DSP and create something beautiful!

Love the combination of Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler. I’m working on my Christmas cards this weekend, and I’ll give you a hint as to what colors I’m using…CC and CC. 🙂 This is a super-cute card, Deb.
Gorgeous card! This is my Fave new set. I just can’t get enough of that snowman. He is sooooo Stinkin’ cute. You really brought him to life with the crumb cake and cherry cobbler inks. I love how you stamped your sentiment over the snowflake and how you did your ribbon and bow placement. I think Mr. Snowman would look so cute next to a sentiment of “Need a Hug” as his hands are outstretched just wanting to hug someone! Perfect card. I just love it.
Will you be showing us how to make that post it note pad that you showed a while back. I think they would make great presents for co-workers and I would love to learn how to make them. No worries tho’. I know how busy the Season!!! Thanks for a great blog!
What a great card, Debbie!!! I love red and white together and I would not have thought to use crumb cake with cherry cobbler! I really like those colors together!! You gave me another great combo previously too of pink pirouette and sahara sand! I have to go back in your blog too, to try to learn the color “stuff” you were teaching!! You are awesome!!
Cute card, Debbie! I love these colors together too. And I love your layered stamping with the sentiment. Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches this week!
Oh what fun indeed! I love your use of this great stamp set! Glad to see you this week at FMS!
What a delightful card! I just love everything about it!
