Warmest wishes1

Last week, Stampin' Up! celebrated "Christmas in July" with some new holiday stamp sets. Naturally, I had to have them.  So, here's my first holiday card for the 2014 season!

The stamp set is "Christmas Bliss" and it's a photopolymer set. These stamps are absolutely wonderful to work with; they hold the ink and transfer it beautifully onto the card stock. And since the stamps are completely clear, I was able to create the little tree border with very little effort.

There's not a lot of white space on this card, but I would say it's definitely Clean and Simple. I created the sentiment window with one of the Chalk Talk Framelits and used some Linen Thread as an embellishment. Not much else to this project, but not much else is needed.

So, ink up one of the photopolymer sets, add a simple embellishment and create something beautiful!

Stampin' Up! Supplies Used:  Card Stock – Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Regals Collection DSP Stack, Cherry Cobbler Polka Dots.  Ink – Garden Green. Stamp Set – Christmas Bliss. Tools – Chalk Talk Framelits and Stampin' Dimensionals. Embellishment – Linen Thread.

Here's some good news. Today was a happy stampin' day for me.  My "Happy Smiles" card was chosen this week's "Headliner" over at "The Paper Players" color challenge. This is really special to me, so my heartfealt thanks goes to LeAnne Pugliese. LeAnne, I just loved the colors you chose. Thanks again for your kindness.
