Time for another Paper Players Challenge and this time Sandy chose a Clean and Simple Monochromatic Scheme.
I'm usually challenged by anything but a simple sketch or the colors laid out for me, but this one was easy. As soon as I saw today's challenge was monochromatic, I knew which color I was going to use… Lost Lagoon. Lost Lagoon is one of my front runners from Stampin' Up!'s new 2014-2016 In Colors Collection. I've been stampin' away with Blackberry Bliss, my other favorite, so I made myself a promise that I was going to ink up with Lost Lagoon.
It's a beautiful, mid-toned, warm blue-green hue, and the depth of the color makes it so soothing…
For this project, I used three different stamp sets. Yep, three! I suppose since I was only using one color, three stamp sets would be okay.
One of the beautiful medallions from Daydream Medallions frames my cropped circle, the flowers are all stamped with images from Petite Petals and punched with the Petite Petals Punch, and finally, the sentiment is from the From My Heart set. I just thought they all worked so well together.
The pretty Lost Lagoon patterned paper is from the new Flowerpot Designer Series Paper.
So, grab a few stamp sets, one ink color and create something fabulous!

So beautiful, Debbie! Lost Lagoon is a keeper, and this card is wonderful. So happy to see you stamping again.
Gorgeous Debbie. I didn’t really like Lost Lagoon like the other In Colors until I saw this! You got my creative juices flowing and they’re Lost Lagoon! Thanks for playing with the paper Players!
Beautiful! Lost Lagoon is my favorite of the new In Colors too! Almost makes losing Baja Breeze tolerable, LOL! Or Ballet Blue!!! This is just lovely, as usual! Thanks for playing with the Paper Players and sharing your creation!
Me too-I {heart} Lost Lagoon! Lovely way to feature it on your card. Such a great layout…thank you for sharing with us at The Paper Players!
