This week over at The Paper Players, Sandy is hosting a Color Challenge featuring Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla and Mossy Meadow.
Pretty colors for the Holiday Season.
I decided to go with a very clean and simple Holiday Note Card… I left the inside blank for a personal message and stamped a "sentiment message" on the front framed with some delicate boughs from "Bordering Blooms".
- The stamp is photopolymer and easily bendable. I created the curved sentiment frame by just gently bending the stamp on the acrylic block. It stayed exactly where I wanted it.
- I repeated the pattern on the top and bottom of my card layer, stamped the sentiment in the center (also a very clear photopolymer stamp), added a faceted sequin and some Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding ribbon as embellishments, and my Clean and Simple card was finished in a snap.
A perfect card for some Sunday afternoon card making.
So, crop a few layers, add a pretty border stamp, embellish, and create something very pretty!
Very lovely and elegant, Debbie! I love the clean simplicity and wonderful sentiment on this card. Thanks so much for playing along with my color challenge this week at The Paper Players!
I love how you curved the frame, so dainty and pretty. Thanks for joining us this week at The Paper Players!
Clever idea bending the vine stamp and your ribbon detail looks terrific. So glad you shared your creation at The Paper Players.
What a clever way to use the Bordering Blooms stamp! Love that your pretty card features the beautiful sentiment on the outside. Thank you for joining us at The Paper Players!
