Today's Paper Players Theme Challenge from LeAnne is "Vintage" or "Antique".
Here's my "antique" Christmas Wish for you. I gave my sponge dauber a work-out today and there were a couple of re-makes of this design before I settled on this one.
I always enjoy creating "collage" designs and Stampin' Up!'s "Trim the Tree" DSP Stack was my inspiration. The patterns mix well. The sentiment is from the "Endless Wishes" stamp set and I think the font gives my "antique" look a little bounce.
With some pattern mixing, a little texture, lots of ink, framelits, and a simple ribbon, it all came together pretty quickly.
So, grab your ink, a sponge dauber, your favorite framelit, and create something wonderful!
Stampin' Up! Supplies Used: Card Stock – Crumb Cake and Trim The Tree DSP Stack. Ink – Early Espresso. Stamp Set – Endless Wishes. Tools – Squares Collection, Stars Framelits, Sponge Daubers and Stampin' Dimensionals. Embellishment – Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon.
Love this, Debbie! Definitely a sweet vintage feel to your creation! I love ANYTHING starry! So glad you jumped in and played with my challenge this week!
