Sneak Peek “For You”!

Good morning and I wish you a happy new week!

Today's post is a mix of old favorites, new favorites… and a "Sneak Peek". 

This sketch is definitely an old favorite of mine. It's symmetric, balanced, and you can do almost anything with it.  

My Squares Collection Framelits cropped the squares. Even though the patterned paper is beautiful… I thought my squares needed a little something more. Originally, I tried my 1/2" Circle Punch, but the circles were too small for my squares…so, I looked over my punches and the 7/8" Scallop Circle Punch worked beautifully. A few silver sequins added just the right amount of sparkle.

"For You" is part of the "Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies" which will be available on January 6th with the launch of the new Occasions Catalog. These Thinlits are already a new favorite… and the pretty DSP is also a Sneak Peek from the "Best Year Ever" collection, part of the new Sale-A-Bration product line and FREE with a $50.00 purchase.

Let's talk about the color in this card… warm blues. I know I've talked about certain "blues" having warmer tones and Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay definitely have warmth… that's why they both pair so well with the warm Calypso Coral. Gold sequns would have been pretty in this card, but the silver helps the Whisper White to pop out of the squares so you realy do focus more on the sentiment, which is the focal point.

So, grab your squares, crop a sentiment, add some bling and create something symetric and stunning!
