Yesterday, the Pals Paper Arts Design Team unveiled a new color challenge for this week; Pink Pirouette, Pistachio Pudding and Soft Sky… a super soft color combination.
Typical of me, I started looking at all sorts of sketches I thought would work with these colors. This time, the inspiration was just not there, so I went to my framelits. I could crop a frame and create another collage card, but wasn't feeling the collage look today. Was feeling those ovals, though!
Within a few minutes, I was cropping ovals and punching "Petite Petals". "Can't Thank You Enough" is from Stampin' Up!'s new photopolymer stamp set, "Lovely Amazing You". It's a sentiment set with a beautiful font and sure to be a new Stampin' Up! winner!
So grab some framelits, add a few "petite petals" and create something soft to link up with the Pals.
Before I sign off, I want to thank the very talented Design Team over at The Pals Paper Arts for selecting my project from last week's Color Challenge as a "Pals Pick". You can see the original post here. It's always fun to play along with the Pals and even more fun to be a Pal. I've said it before and I'll say it again… the PALS ROCK!!
Here's last week's project
Debbie, this card is soooo cute. I love it…it’s my kind of card!
Pretty card. The layout is perfect. I love those petite petals.
Hi Debbie! Your card looks like it’s made out of a soft fabric. The blue oval looks like felt. I really like it! Everything just seems perfect. Love the petite petals with the bow! Perfect placement! I also really lile the pistacio pudding color in your layout. It’s a color I don’t usually like, but it works really well here! You are awesome!!
One more thing. Lol!! The sentiment in black on the “felt” oval looks like it could be embroidered on there! I don’t know–this card is really special!! Very soft.
Beautiful card Debbie…love the details! Thanks for joining the Pals color challenge this week!
Such a pretty card! I love your bouquet of flowers!
Oh such a pretty card!! Just love it!! Thank you for playing along with us!!
Precious Debbie! Thanks for playing with us for PPA243!
