It's been awhile since I last posted, but not long since I last designed cards.  When the love of paper crafting is with you… as they say… "you can take the girl away from her creativity, but you can never take the love of it away from the girl!" Well, I'm not really sure if "they" say this… I think I just made it up.

Along with other personal changes, I've completed a major remodel in my home and brought my real estate business to a nice manageable level. All is well… Now it's time to enjoy my stamping and blogging again; something I've been wanting to do.

I never left Mary's Stampin' Pretty Pals. I was the phantom in the background checking in on all the "new" and "wonderful", and really keeping an eye on some close stampin' friends… as I looked forward to today.

So, there's no better way to re-start than joining with the Pals over at the Pals Paper Arts. Maggie certainly hit the ground running with this one.

Her sketch inspired me to go to some patterned paper, and  the "Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper Stack" was my choice.  The colors are just gorgeous and the details in the patterns create great texture… don't you agree?

Just a few layers, a cropped circle, a pretty tag, a Linen Thread bow, and some sequins… add a happy sentiment and you've got a great little card to send off to someone special. Don't forget the matching envelope! Stampin' Up's Envelope Liners Framelits makes envelope lining easy and quick.

So, grab your favorite patterned paper, add some bling and create something special to link up with the Pals.
