Today’s post is for this week’s Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge. Amy’s sketch is simple and sweet, so I made a simple and sweet card!
- I just got the “Honeycomb Happiness” stamp set (a free Sale-A-Bration reward for me), and went straight to the ice cream cone.
- The patterned paper is from the “Cherry On Top” Designer Series Paper Stack and it was a perfect fit for the stamp, so I followed the sketch and in no time my project came together.
- I stamped the ice cream cone in Tip Top Taupe ink and sponged in some Watermelon Wonder and Tip Top Taupe ink. It’s been a while since I pulled out my sponges, and I was glad I did. I was able to get just the right amount of color into the image quickly and easily.
- After a little fussy cutting, I attached the image to the cropped circles with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals… which, by the way, are on almost every card I make, and added my sentiment banner.
So, pull out some pattern paper, grab a “sweet” stamp, sponge a little ink and create something fun to link up with the Pals.
Oh this is so sweet! Just a fun and adorable card!! Thank you for playing with us this week!!
The perfect segment into Spring card! The ice-cream looks yummy and I can almost taste some raspberry sherbet. Thank you for playing along with the Pals paper Arts.
Hi Debbie! Beautifully colorful card! So glad you joined us this week!
