Happy Sunday!

Yesterday, I celebrated World Card Making Day with my special stamping friends.  Georgia, Monica, Barbara and I have always made it a priority to get together once each month to share projects and ideas. We’ve done this for at least a few years. We haven’t all been together since early this year and yesterday we were finally all in the same room. It was a fun afternoon. We also ate pizza!!!

I asked the girls if I could dedicate today’s post to them. They were happy to share their projects and hope you all enjoy them.

Georgia Egan is our 3-D girl.  She designs the most beautiful cards, but she really loves anything that can hold anything.  She is continuing to inspire and push me along to creating more 3-D projects.  I’m open to it!  Her project was a stand up box that you fill from the bottom. It’s embellished with Silver Foil snowflakes and tied with a satin ribbon.  She scored – we punched, we tabbed and added Tear and Tape adhesive and a beautiful satin ribbon. Here’s Georgia’s finished project  It truly is stunning.

Monica VanBuskirk is both a card and 3-D designer.  Monica designed a clean and simple card using the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle. She cropped the sunflower with some Bumblebee polka dot DSP, added the die cut overlay in Gold Metallic Foil, embossed the Whisper White card layer, added some Whisper White die cut leaves and a sweet sentiment celebrating the day.  Those three little Bumblebee Enamel Dots are the perfect finishing touch for Monica’s card.  I love the sunflower with a softer look.  The So Saffron card base is a perfect complement to the Bumblebee sunflower. Monica’s card is soft and sweet!

Barbara Levitz is our resident card maker and she loves to color and fussy cut.  She creates beautiful cards for just about anything. Barbara loves to test drive colors, stamp sets, dies and embellishments. She’s our Stampin’ Blends girl and always comes up with something lovely to share. Barbara’s project is Fall themed using the stunning Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper. Look at those perfectly fussy cut leaves.  The Braided Linen Trim is a perfect embellishment for the Craft card stock card base. Barbara’s card is warm and grateful!

My project was a Clean and Simple card using the Celebrations Tidings Bundle, a most definite favorite of mine. I posted this card earlier this week and I knew the ladies would enjoy putting it together. Here’s the link to my original post.  Merry Christmas Clean and Simple.

I hope you enjoyed these projects as much as we did.  Our World Card Making Day celebration was fun. It was so nice to be together again!

So, grab some of your favorite supplies, add some satin ribbon, a beautiful gold embellished sunflower, a few perfectly cut leaves, a little heart and create something sweet and pretty.
