Happy Friday!!

Today’s post is a Sneak Peek of the Butterfly Brilliance Bundle and coordinating designer series paper, along with a specialty Designer Series Paper. The Butterfly Brilliance Collection will be available March 2nd and runs through May 3rd.  You will be able to purchase each item separately or as a collection.

Now it’s time to talk about this card and how I used the products from this new Bundle.

The Butterfly Brilliance Stamp Set:  When I opened the Butterfly Brilliance stamp set, I was surprised to see there were six beautifully detailed butterflies that were attached on one cling stamp.  So what do you do? Cut them?

The Brilliant Wings Dies:  My second surprise was when I opened the Brilliant Wings Dies.  There are seven dies in the set including one large die that perfectly matches the one large stamp set.  I thought that was fabulous!  I could grab a piece of Watercolor cardstock, stamp the six butterflies all at once and have a water-coloring party for myself.  Or, I could stamp the large die on Basic White cardstock with some Memento Ink and have a coloring fest with my Stampin’ Blends or Watercolor Pencils and Blender Pen.

The Butterfly Bijou DSP:  My third surprise was when I opened the matching Butterfly Bijou 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper.  The large die matched the butterfly pattern on one of the designs!  I couldn’t resist and had to make a card to share.  It took just about half a minute to make sure my die was set correctly on the DSP.  (I do use Washi tape to help keep everything in place).  After I ran it through my cutting machine, I had six perfect butterflies ready to pop onto my card design.  I chose two for this card.  Look at the detail in these Butterflies.  They almost look 3-D!!  And look at the beautiful background patterned paper design.  It’s a watercolor masterpiece, but I didn’t do it.  Stampin’ Up! did.

I finished this card in a flash.  Rather than use a Basic Black accent with this gorgeous background paper, I used Basic Gray.  I wanted a softer look.  I thought this sentiment was perfect for my card design.  It’s from the Garden Wishes stamp set.

So, think about adding the Butterfly Brilliance Bundle to your Wish List for March, add a layer or two and create something soft and brilliant.

…the only limitation is your imagination!
