Hello Stampers! Happy Monday!
One of the ladies in my group recently talked about having a dry spell with project inspiration. It happens to all of us. The advice I gave to my friend was to go to one of the catalogs and CASE something that catches her eye. So, today I have a catty CASE for you. I haven’t CASE’d the catty in a while. I must say, it was fun. All of the Stampin’ Up! catalogs are great sources of project inspiration.
I was looking for a few quick and easy projects and it didn’t take long. On page 7 in the January-June 2021 Mini I came across the You Are Amazing Project Kit. There are four card designs in the Kit along with a decorative box to store the finished cards. Here’s my idea:
- I’ll CASE the four cards using different supplies. I chose the Playing With Patterns DSP which would be my color inspiration.
- Two of the cards are featured in today’s post and two will be in tomorrow’s post.
- Tomorrow’s post will also include a PDF Tutorial for all four cards.
I think it’ll be fun and since they’re all color coordinated and very generic, the four card set would make a great gift.
Todays first card above uses the polka dot pattern from Playing With Patterns DSP with Night of Navy and Purple Posy accents.
The second card below uses the same color palette as the first (the small polka dot pattern from the DSP) with Night of Navy, Purple Posy, Bermuda Bay and Crushed Curry accents.
The card in the catty has different DSP, a die cut label, a different sentiment and no embellishments.
Don’t forget to check back tomorrow. I’ll have two more cards for your inspiration and a PDF tutorial of all four cards including supplies I used, measurements and pictures.
So, pull out some of your DSP, match up some cardstock, add a sentiment banner and create a CASE or two.
…the only limitation is your imagination!
