Happy Monday!  It’s March,  and Spring is only a few weeks away.  The days are getting longer and the Sun is shining brighter.  Yay!!

Usually, when I get an idea for a card, I write it down.  Either I describe the image in a few words, or I draw a quick sketch of it.  I have a little notebook next to my computer that I use and refer to it a few times a week.  I had a few ideas for today’s post and decided to go with this one.  The end result always surprises me since most of the time it’s not at all what I set out to do.  The products I’m working with inspire me along the way.

Today’s card was inspired by the Well Suited Designer Series Paper.  I loved the grid paper pattern mixed with the blue floral pattern.  That’s how this design started.  The grid and blue floral designs were attractive to me.  When I put them together though,  I thought I needed more color.  I had a strip of the Cajun Craze checked pattern from the same DSP pack and liked the look.

A Pacific Point flower was my original choice.  It looked good, but I thought the Bumblebee flower really added that always fun pop of color.   I am partial to almost any shade of blue, but I think yellow is always a fun neutral.

The In Bloom Bundle, which is my “go to” flower Bundle, was perfect for the rest of the elements on this card, including the sentiment.  If you enjoy paper crafting, it’s important to invest in a versatile floral stamp set and matching dies.  You will enjoy having them, especially if you enjoy clustering elements as I do.  I really enjoyed putting this card together and hope you enjoy this design.

So once again, pull out that favorite patterned paper, add a cluster of elements and a sentiment and create something amazing!

…the only limitation is your imagination!
