Happy, Sunday!

It’s time for another new Challenge with the Paper Players.  Our amazing Ann has a Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge this week.  Choose a row in the grid below horizontally, vertically or diagonally. Follow the instructions in your choice and create something fabulous to link up with us.

I decided to follow the diagonal criteria in the grid – a die cut, patterned paper and foil.

Here’s How I Did It
  • I cut a piece of the Peaceful Place Designer Series Paper for my card layer and background. The patterned paper is full of silver foil snowflakes.
  • The two die cut “snow hills” are cut using my Curvy Dies
  • .With a Blending Brush and Basic Gray ink, I added some shading to the snow hills.
  • The white vellum pine trees are die cuts from the recent Peaceful Christmas Paper Pumpkin Kit.  They added some subtle dimension to my winter scene.
  • They’re attached with Mini Glue Dots at the base which I tucked under the snow hill.
  • The birdhouse and cardinal are from the Garden Birdhouses stamp set. I shaded the birdhouse and cardinal with Stampin’ Blends and fussy cut them.
  • The “peaceful” sentiment is from the Peaceful Christmas Paper Pumpkin Kit.  The font and sentiment work well with this peaceful winter scene.

So, pull out some great patterned paper, add some foil  and a die cut or two and create something peaceful to link up with us over at the Paper Players.

…the only limitation is your imagination!
