A Simple Peek at the Sun Prints Suite

I’m excited to open a new week with a Sneak Peek at the Sun Prints Suite. Sun Prints is coming your way in just about a week with the launch of Stampin’ Up!’s 2022-2023 Annual Catalog.

The Suite Collection includes the Natures Prints Bundle and the Sun Prints Designer Series Paper. While today’s card is quick and easy, I’m featuring a stepped up version tomorrow, so be sure to stop by.

My Thoughts on Sun Prints

It’s classic, stunning and very versatile. A “must have”.
The mix of Pacific Point, Starry Sky, Night of Navy and Gray Granite are beautiful.
I added a hint of Orchid Oasis in my card today, and that works well with the DSP color combination.
The sentiment stamps have a clean typed font mixed with a “penned”, contemporary font. Really eye catching!
The Designer Series Paper…. stunning! Beautiful shades of the blues mentioned above highlighted with white accents.
It’s double sided with blues and Gray Granite generic prints on the other side.

Today’s Card Pieces and Parts

I cut a standard A-2 Thick Basic White card base cut 11″ x 4 1/4 and scored at 5 1/2″.
There’s a Starry Night cardstock layer under the patterned paper layer that measures 4″ x 5 1/4″.
The Starry Night, Night of Navy and Basic White patterned paper layer is 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ .
I wanted to give the patterned paper a little definition and the thin cardstock layer works.
I cut the smaller Basic White layer with one of my Stitched Rectangles Dies. The layer measures about 3″ x 4 3/8″.
The Starry Night top layer is also die cut with a Stitched Rectangles Die. That layer is about 2 5/8″ x 3 7/8″.
The wreath is die cut from the Natural Prints Dies.
The sentiment layer is also die cut with a die from the Natural Prints Dies. It’s a good size for many card designs and sentiment stamps.

So, cut a card base, add a few layers and a large die cut, pop on a sentiment layer and create something thoughtful.
