Today’s card is a sneak peek at the Sending Smiles Bundle. Let’s recap my past few posts. I absolutely love the Tea Boutique Suite, I adore the Sun Prints Suite and I’m in awe of the Sending Smiles Bundle. I have three favorites in Stampin’ Up!’s upcoming 2022-2023 Annual Catalog. THREE! And there’s more to come.
The Sending Smiles stamp set has floral images that can be clustered or stand alone, along with a large “Sending” word stamp. The Sending Dies cut the stamped images perfectly. This is one Bundle I predict will have a permanent home in my craft room.
Card Parts & Pieces
- Cut a Thick Basic White card base at 11″ x 4 1/4″ and score at 5 1/2″.
- I cut a patterned paper strip 5 1/2″ x 3 1/4″ and centered it on the card front.
- Stamp each flower with Poppy Parade ink and die cut.
- The stem is Granny Apple Green and adhered to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Stamp “Sending” with Poppy Parade ink and die cut with the matching die.
- Attach the die cuts with Dimensionals.
- The Poppy Parade sentiment is die cut with one frame from the Sending Dies.
- The sentiment frame dies have a beautiful embossed, detailed border. Classic!
This card came together quickly. The sentiments are versatile with a crisp, clean font.
Die Cutting Tip:
- When die cutting, use Thick Basic White cardstock when possible.
- If you’re using a colored cardstock, cut two of your image and glue them together. The thicker die cut will give your cuts more dimension.
- I used Thick Basic White cardstock for the die cut elements on today’s card.
So, cut a thick card base, attach a pretty piece of patterned paper, die cut a large sentiment and send someone special a smile!
