Here’s a simple and festive Christmas Card created with the Ringed With Nature stamp set. Stamps, paper, ink, and some Stampin’ Blend ribbon coloring is all it takes to create this card.
I always look for versatility in any new product. The Ringed With Nature Bundle is one I know will stay up front in my Stamp collection. With a quick color and element change, I could have a card for just about any occasion. The smaller images in the stamp set work well for tags and note cards, as well.
Today’s Card Pieces and Parts
- I started with an 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ tent fold, Basic White card base, scored at 4 1/4″ on the 8 1/2″ side.
- The Gingham Corrage Designer Series Paper layer is 3 1/2″ x 5″.
- The Basic White card top layer is a 2 7/8″ square.
- I stamped Real Red poinsettias and Old Olive leaves on each corner of this layer and attached it to a Basic Black mat layer.
- The Basic Black mat layer is a 3″ square.
- I cut about 17″ of the Natural Woven Ribbon (from the Boughs of Holly Suite), and colored it with a Dark Real Red Stampin’ Blend. This was an easy process, the alcohol ink dries quickly. Make sure you place copy paper or a large scrap under the ribbon as you color. I shaded both sides of the ribbon.
- I shaped the ribbon into a bow and attached it onto the back of the stamped square.
- The square focal point is attached to the card front with Dimensionals.
So, pull out your Ringed With Nature stamp set, cut some cardstock, stamp a few images, add a ribbon and create a simple and quick holiday card to share with someone special.
… the only limitation is your imagination!
