Last week, I celebrated the new 2023-2025 In Color Collection. In my papercrafting world travels, I saw so many wonderful displays of color inspiration. The new In Colors are certainly on trend, and I know we’ll all see amazing projects with them. Stay tuned!
Today’s card is simple and soft. I wanted to put a few stamps to ink, and decided on the Petal Park stamp set. The Petal Park Bundle (stamp set and punch) is retiring at the Bundled price (a 10% savings), but both are coming back separately. The Regency Park 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper is leaving us and is still available. I used one of the patterns from the DSP in my card today.
Today’s Card Parts & Pieces
- The stamps in the Petal Park stamp set can be used individually, or as a two-step stamp set. I used two-step stamping today.
- I first stamped the outline images using Evening Evergreen and Sweet Sorbet ink onto a Basic White cardstock layer.
- Next, I stamped the filler images with Soft Succulent and Petal Pink ink over the outline images.
- The sentiment (from the Happy Label stamp set), is stamped with Sweet Sorbet ink.
- I cut a top fold Basic White cardstock card base 4 1/4″ x 11″, and scored it at 5 1/2″.
- The patterned paper layer is 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″, and covers the entire card front.
- I die cut the Basic White stamped layer using one of the Scalloped Contours Dies. It measures approximately 3″ x 4 1/2″.
- The Petal Pink bow is adhered with a glue dot.
- I hand cut the flagged sentiment strip and tucked it under the bow with some liquid glue.
- To add a little sparkle, I scattered a few white Adhesive Backed Seasonal Sequins I had in my sstsh.
Wouldn’t it be fun to hand write a little note to someone special just to let them know you’re thinking of them?
So, find that special two-step stamp set, put some ink to cardstock, add a pretty bow and create something soft and sweet!
