The Earthen Elegance Product Suite is today’s showcase. Wow! This Suite is bewautiful, as well as elegant! There were so many ways I could have used the Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper, but I decided to go with a lighter color palette. I chose Gray Graniew and added pops of Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock. I accented this combination with Pecan Pie. It’s one of the new Core Colors, and a great “Neutral”.
“Texture” is the theme of this Product Suite. From the Designer Series Paper, to the die cuts, to the Natural 1/4″ Wavy Trim. I used it all in today’s card.
Today’s Card Paerts & Pieces
- There are lots of pieces and parts today. Keep in mind, though, that this card came together pretty quickly. Once you get started, it all just flows.
- My Gray Granite card base is 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″.
- The amazing textured DSP layer is 4″ x 5 1/4″.
- The three vases are die cuts, but there are only two vase dies!
- I used the same vase die for the Lost Lagoon tall vase and the Pretty Peacock and white tall vase. The two-toned tall vase is die cut from a piece of Designer Series Paper, trimmed at the top to make it shorter than the Lost Lagoon vase, and I added a die cut Pretty Peacock topper with handles to the top. You can see the die in the photo above.
- The natural 1/4″ Wavy Trim (wrapped around the tall vase), is soft and wraps around the cardstock with little effort. I added two strips of Stampin’ Seal to the back of the vase, and wrapped the ribbon. You can see the detail in the ribbon and how each “wave” stacks on the other.
- All of the die cut elements are attached with Dimensionals.
- I stamped the sentiment with Pecan Pie ink and die cut it with a die from the new Gorgeously Made Dies.
- The sentiment on the inside of the card is also stamped with Pecan Pie ink.
So, take a close look at the Earthen Elegence Suite, think about all you can do with “texture”, and create beautiful “earthy” projects to share.
