Hi! Hope you all had a wonderful Labor Day holiday. I’m starting off this fun week with a Sneak Peek (but not for long), of the new Sending Cheer Bundle. It will be ready for you tomorrow!

Look at the embossed Basic White layer in the photo. Isn’t it amazing? Though it’s not part of the Bundle, it coordinates perfectly with the images and style. Now that you most likely have your September-December 2023 Mini Catalog, it’s on page 33, next to the Sending Cheer Bundle on page 32. If you can, add it to your Wish List. You will be plesantly surprised!

The Sending Cheer Bundle was designed to help you create fun tags. As with most “tag” bundles, there’s always a way to use the images and die cut elements to create cards. This Bundle was at the top of my list when I saw it in the Mini Catalog. Be certain that I’ll be showcasing more projects with it.

So, let’s make a card!

Today’s Card Parts & Pieces

  • I cut a Real Red cardstock card base 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and scored it at 4 1/4″.
  • The Shaded Spruce bottom layer is 4″ x 5 1/4″.
  • The Basic White cardstock embossed layer is 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″.
  • Each of the Buffalo Check Designer Series Paper layers is 3′ x 4″. These patterns are in the new Mini. They’re part of the Joy of Christmas paper pack.
  • Santa’s hat is die cut from a piece of Designer Series Paper from the One Horse Open Sleigh paper pack.
  • I stamped two holly leaf clusters with Shaded Spruce and Parakeet Party ink. The holly berries are stamped with Real Red ink.
  • The sentiment layer is the tag die in the Sending Cheer die set.
  • Once I adhered my layers together, I attached the stamped tag to the top layer with Dimensionals.
  • Then, I attached Santa’s hat as shown on the left side of the top layer using Dimensionals.
  • The holly clusters are adhered with glue.
  • Just for fun (and a little color balance), I added a few Parakeet Party Matte Dots.
  • I stamped the inside with a sentiment from the new Joy To You stamp set. It’s on page 21 in the new Mini. I’ll have a project using this stamp set in a future post.
  • The little stamped and die cut holly cluster is the perfect suprise inside for your recipient.

Tomorrow’s the day we’ve all been waiting for… the new September-December, 2023 Mini Catalog goes live. I’ll have a downloadable version ready for you to view. There’s also new Designer Series Paper being added to the Online Exclusives that will be available for you tomorrow. I’ll have all the details in tomorrow’s post. Be sure to stop by.

So, cut a few layers, add a Santa hat die cut, a few holly clusters, some matte dots and a “tag” sentiment layer, and create a card to send holiday cheer!

… the only limitation is your imagination!
