Happpy Monday! I wish you a fun crafty week ahead.
I’m showcasing the Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper, along with the Perennial Postage Bundle. Both are part of the Perennial Lavender Suite Collection. You can get more details on the Product Suite at the end of this post.
The Perennial Postage Bundle features nesting dies with a “postage stamjp” edge. There are nine layering dies, a postage stamp embossing die, and two “tag topper” dies that help you easily convert the layering dies into tags.
The Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper is nothing short of beautiful! It features peaceful purples and greens on a neutral Crumb Cake canvas. Today’s card marks the first time I cut this patterned paper. The colors and patterns mix beautifully together.
So, let’s make a card!
Parts & Pieces
- I used Thick Basic White cardstock for the 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ card base. I scored it at 4 1/4″.
- The Basic White cardstock card layer is embossed using the Timeworn Type 3-D Embossing Folder. It’s 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″.
- I die cut the Crumb Cake patterned paper layer using the largest of the Perennial Postage Dies.
- II cut a Vellum cardstock layer 2 1/4″ x 3 1/2″. I centered and offset this layer to the top of the die cut patterned paper layer.
- The Perennial Lavender patterned paper layer is 2 1/4″ x 3 1/2″.
- I cut a Basic White cardstock layer 2 1/2″ x 3 1/8″. I centered the Perennial Postage die that measures about 3″ x 2 1/8″ onto the Basic White layer and die cut the layer to created a frame.
- I attached (and offset) the frame on top of the patterned paper layer.
- The sentiment, stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink, is stamped onto the smallest of the Deckled Circles Dies. It’s attached to the card front with a Dimensional.
- The lavender die cut elements are from the January Paper Pumpkin Kit.
- I shaded the white Baker’s Twine bow with my Dark Highland Heather Stampin’ Blend.
- To embellish, I added one of the snall Purple Fine Shimmer Gems.
So, emboss a cardstock layer, add die cut patterned paper layers, create a frame, and a cluster of flowers, and send someone a beautiful big hug!
… the only limitation is your imagination!
