Here’s some simple weekend inspiration for you. I’ve been wanting to use this sunflower stamped image from the Cutest Cows stamp set for a while, and today’s the day. The cows are adorable, but it was this image that convinced me to get the stamp set. There’s always one, right? Sunflowers are “happy” flowers!
By the way, although the Cutest Cows Bundle is on the current Last Chance List, these products are not leaving us. They’re in the upcoming 2024-2025 Annual Catalog, but you won’t be able to purchase them at the Bundle price (a 10% savings). Paets & Pieces
- I cut a Melon Mambo cardstock card base 4 1/4″ x 11″, and scored it on the long side at 5 1/2″.
- The Basic White cardstock mat later is 4′ x 5 1/4″.
- The hearts patterned paper layer is 3 3/4″ x 5″.
- I stamped the sunflower image onto Basic White cardstock and added color with Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends. (I’m not the best with coloring, but the Blends made it so easy).
- I die cut the stamped image with one of the Deckled Circle Dies. It measures 2 1/8″ in diameter.
- The Melon Mambo circle is punched with the 2 3/8″ Circle Punch.
- I cut a Basic White inside writing layer 3 3/4″ x 5″, stamped it with images from the Curest Cows Stamp Set, and added a patterned paper strip to the bottom.
This card design is another one of those that you can easily duplicate with supplies you already have. Think about getting the Cutest Cows Bundle. There’s a lot you’ll be able to do with it. The images are adorable (great for kids cards) and the sentiment font is fun.
So, cut a few layers, punch a circle, stamp a “happy” image and create a card to congratulate a friend.
