It’s a good day to have a good day! Isn’t this a fun sentiment? I paired the stamp from the Filled With Happiness stamp set with the Sunny Days Designer Series Paper.
The stamp set is one of those that you have to have on your shelf. It’s refreshing! Combine it with the Modern Oval Punch and you have a match made in heaven. The stamp set also has two large font stamps that can easily be fussy cut to create another layering element for your card design.
So, let’s make a card!
Parts & Pieces
The Crushed Curry cardstock card base is 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″.
I cut the Basic White mat layer 4″ x 5 1/4″.
The Sunny Days Designer Series Paper layer is 3 3/4″ x 5″.
The Basic White sentiment layer is 3 3/4″ x 2 3/4″.
With my corner round punch, I punched the corners of the mat and patterned paper layers for a little pattern repeat in the card design.
I stamped the sentiment with Memento Black Ink and added color with Blends.
I punched the center of the sentiment with the Modern Oval Punch.
The negative of the punched layer is adhered to the card front with liquied glue.
The stamped center of the punched layer is attached with Dimensionals.
The “sun” pattern in the Designer Series Paper is subtle enough to let the sentiment shine. The sentiment font is bold. This makes it easy to add color with Blends. I enjoued putting this card together and I’m sure you will, as well.
So, stamp a sentiment “filled with happiness”, add a little color, attach it to your card layers, and send wishes for a good day!

Mixing Boho Blue and Lemon Lolly has been on my “to do” list for a while. Until now, I haven’t found the right project for the combination. Do you recognize the Boho Blue background in this card? It’s the “nagative” from the embossed heart dies I used in my Product Premier Post for the Adoring Hearts Hybrid Embossing Folder. You can see my original post here.
Card Parts & Pieces
The Adoring Hearts Hybrid Embossing Folder die cuts and embosses at the same time. The original Boho Blue cardstock layer was a 6″ square. I cut 3 3/8″ from the left side.
This gave me an even edge on each side of the open hearts layer.
Then, I trimmed the top and bottom of the layer to create an equal border on all sides.
The Boho Blue layer measures 3 3/8″ x 5 1/2″.
I adhered two 1/4″ Lemon Lolly cardstock strips to each side of the Boho Blue layer.
I attached this layer to a Thick Basic White cardstock card base. It’s a top fold card base that measures 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″.
The Lemon Lolly embossed hearts are attached with Dimensionals.
I stamped the “hello” sentiment with Boho Blue ink and fussy cut it. It’s from the Heartfelt Hellos stamp set. The stamp set is feee with a $50 product purchase. It’s in the Sale-A-Bration Brochure.
I attached the white baker’s twine bow with a Dimensional and attached the sentiment on top of it with Dimensionals.
For a little sparkle, I added a few Boho Blue In-Color Dots.
It’s always fun to finish the inside. Here, I stamped the sentiment (from Heartfelt Hellos) and added a patterned paper strip over some Lemon Lolly cardstock.
This is a quick and easy card to put together. Now, I have a Lemon Lolly cardstock negative to use on another design.
So, find that “perfect scrap”, add a cardstock strip or two, a bow, a sentiment, and some textured dimension, and crate something to send a Heartfelt Hello!

I hope you’re enjoying some crafty time this weekend. Here’s another Product Premier Post for your inspiration.
Did you know that the images on the top layers of these cards are cocoa beans? I actually looked up a picture of a cocoa bean and was amazed at the accuracy of Stampin’ Up!’s concept designers’ drawings. The Product Suite I’m showcasing today is called (and appropriately named), Nature’s Sweetness! It’s on pages 40-43 in the new January-April 2024 Mini Catalog.
I’m featuring the Notes of Nature Bundle, and the star of my cards is the Nature’s Sweetness Specialty Designer Series Paper. This Bundle and patterned paper pack was on top of my Wish List.
You can click on the thumbnail images at the end of this post for the product details.
Card Parts & Pieces
I cut a Pecan Pie cardstock card base 4 1/4″ x 11″ and scored it at 5 1/2″.
The Pretty Peeacock cardstock layer is 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″.
The cocoa bean patterned paper layer is 4″ x 5 1/4″. You can click on the blue botton below to download the PDF Tutorial for tips on how to cut the patterned paper layers.
I stamped the sentiment onto a die cut Deckled Circle.
The element cluster under the circle combines three strps of the Faux Leather Trim (part of the Nature’s Sweetness Product Suite), and a Pretty Peacock die cut leaf sprig.
I die cut the Pretty Peacock element using one of the dies in the Notes of Nature Bundle.
The Pecan Pie ink splatter on the patterned paper layer was my inspiration to add some Pretty Peacock ink splatter.
When I decided to add another color to the patterned paper layer, I referred to my Color Coach and chose Pretty Peacock.
These cards were quick and easy. There are two sheets of the cocoa bean drawings in the Nature’s Sweetness Specialty Designer Series Paper. By strategically cutting the patterned paper, you will have 12 card layers. You can coordinate the cocoa bean drawings with cardstock layers, or cut them to create a 3 1/2″ x 5″ note card set. Wouldn’t this be a beautiful gift?
The layer cutting measurements are in the PDF Tutorial below. Click the blue buttonto download a copy.
So, cut a few cocoa bean drawings, add a cardstock layer and a “leather” element cluster, splatter some ink, and celebrate the sweetness of nature!

Let’s talk about this card and the new products I used.
Parts & Pieces Details
The Designer Series Paper
I’ll start with the Designer Series Paper. It’s from the Softly Stippled 12″ x 12″ paper pack. It’s in the Sale-A-Bration Brochure and is free with a $50 product purchase.
I used the Wild Wheat watercolor washed pattern paper as a base layer that covers the entire card front.
I also used the Lost Lagoon and Wild Wheat stippled floral patters as my top layer.
The patterns in the Softly Stippled DSP pack are just as the title says – soft and stippled.
The colors featured in this Designer Series Paper are Calypso Coral, Lost Lagoon, Pebbled Path, Pool Party and Wild Wheat.
The Heartfelt Hellos Stamp Set
Isn’t the sentiment font beautiful?
The Heartfelt Hellos stamp set is another free product from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure. It requires a $50 product purchase.
There are six cling rubber stamps that are large enouch to use as a focal point as I did here.
All of the sentiment stamps coordinate with the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch. You can find the punch in the Online Exclusives.
I stamped the “hello” sentiment with Wild Wheat ink and used a sponge dauber and Lost Lagoon ink to ink up the edge.
Although the sentiment layer is attached with Dimensionals, adding a little ink to the edges gives it a bit more depth.
The Perennial Postage Dies
More “Nesting Dies” … Yay! And, I happen to love the “postage stamp” edge.
I used two of the dies for the card layers.
There are a total of nine nesting dies, along with a postmark embossing die and two small dies that will allow you to create postage tags.
As you can see, this card is quick and easy to put together. You can cut your card base, cover the front with pretty patterned paper, die cut two layers, and stamp and punch a sentiment. It’s a simple design you can use with just about any supplies you have.
So, until my next post, remember to always express your creativity, and …
… the only limitation is your imagination!
Last Chance Product List
Just a reminder, the Last Chance Product Sale will end Wednesday, January 3rd.
This time of the year brings me thoughts of gratitude. It’s also time for another Clean and Simple card. I combined my ideas, stamped some trees from the Forever Forest Stamp Set (which, by the way, has become a favorite), and used lots of Basic White cardstock.
Wanting to draw attention to the trees, I framed them with the large frame die from the Garden Meadow Dies. I also added “Crystal Detail” to the trees. Some of you may remember Crystal Detail. Here’s my story…
… There’s a “snow” stamp in the Forever Forest Stamp Set. I wanted to add some white embossed falling snow over the stamped trees. (Wouldn’t that have been pretty?) It turned out that my VersaMark stamp pad was a little dry. I looked for my refill and couldn’t find it. Instead, I pulled the Crystal Detail from my refill drawer. That was a nice surprise! It’s been a while since I’ve used it, but I enjoyed scattering this amazing “liquid glitter” on the trees. It’s hard to see in the photo, but the tree branches do sparkle!
I will definitely add the VersaMark Refill to my next order, or maybe just treat myself to a new pad. I’m happy to have made this little discovery. I’m sure I have many more surprises in my craft room. It’s probably time to get into some of the nooks and crannies I have in here to see what other source of amazement I can find.
So, go into that drawer you haven’t opened in a while. There may be a sparkled surprise or two in there for you!
