“Celebrate, Life Looks Beautiful On you! I love, love, love this stamp set and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. Did you ever just know when a you have a perfect match? The “Beautiful You” stamp set and “Playful Palette” Designer Series Paper Stack is the perfect match.
“Playful Palette” Designer Series Paper Stack from the Annual Catalog and “Beautiful You” from the upcoming Occasions Catalog were made for each other. The brush stroke patterns in the paper coordinate so well with the brush stroke stamped images.
It doesn’t get any easier than this to create a beautiful card set. The stamped images are playful and elegant at the same time; the sentiment fonts are just perfect, and the sentiments are wonderful words to share with your special friends.
“Bautiful You” will be available on January 4th with the reveal of the new Occasions Catalog and the launch of Sale-A-Bration, Stampin’ Up!’s biggest sale event of the year.
So, grab a great stamp set, find the perfect patterned paper and create something playful and elegant!
I don’t know where the time goes, but it’s flying by at record speed! This week’s Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge has “Fall” written all over it and I happen to love the vibrancy of the Fall colors.
I’ve been wanting to use the “Basket of Wishes” stamp set and thought this would be the perfect opportunity. I enjoy keeping fresh flowers in my home. I have an arrangement of Sunflowers on my dining table and they were my inspiration today.
This project is, without a doubt, clean and simple. I created lots of layers, stamped the images and used my ink pads and blender pen to do the coloring. The stamps are photopolymer which I define as “perfectly clear” so placement is easy with the clear blocks. This is a stamp set you’ll use way beyond “Fall”.

Before I end today’s post, I want to say “Thank You” to the Pals Paper Arts Design Team for choosing my scarecrow card as a “Pals Pick” last week. It felt good to have my card chosen and more rewarding to be chosen among the company of Lynn, Kajcyika and the talent of all the amazing Pals. Thank you Design Team! Here’s my card and a link back to the post.
So, grab some card stock, crop a few layers, add your favorite colors and create something simple and sweet.
Until next time,
Spring is here and change is in the air. The trees are blooming, the grass is green and I was happily walking on the beach this morning. A bit of a cool breeze coming off the ocean, but the sun was bright and the sky a beautiful, clear blue. Hopefully, my schedule will allow for another visit this week and I’ll try to remember to get a picture to share with you all.
Today’s project was inspired by last week’s Mojo Monday sketch. I never got to join their challenge, but the sketches always inspire me. I used some patterned paper from both “Love Blossoms” and “Going Places” DSP Stacks. The stamp set is “Butterfly Basics”. I used almost every stamp in the set for this one! I really do enjoy creating those backgrounds and this stamp set has a few neat stamps that can really inspire your creativity to design a simple collage background. The sentiment is certainly appropriate for this time of year, don’t you agree?
I thought this card would be a good post for today since there are changes going on over at Stampin’ Up! Today is a big day… the “Retired Stamp List” is out and it’s time to pull out your catalog and grab what you might want to add to your collection… the retired sets and supplies are only available while supplies last so don’t hesitate. You can click on the banners below to get all the details.
Just having some fun with the “Apple of My Eye” stamp set. The very whimsical font is “just the sweetest”. There’s nothing more needed in this design, the apple does it all… well, maybe the little bit of bling helps make the sweet sentiment shine. Hmm… try saying “sweet sentiment shine” three times!!
A few slices of patterned paper… the Crushed Curry dotted pattern is from the “Cherry On Top” DSP Stack (measures 1″ X 4 3/8″) and the Basic Black dotted pattern is from the “Go Wild” DSP stack (measures 1″ X 3 3/4″)..
The Basic Black horizontal strip is a good base to anchor the bright colors to this Clean and Simple card.
So, grab a few slices of patterned paper, fussy cut a piece of fruit, add those lovable sequins and create something whimsical.
Happy April Fools Day! Dawn wasn’t fooling when she designed this sketch for the Pals Paper Arts this week.
I thought of so many ideas when I saw this sketch and I decided to go with one of my absolute favorite sentiments… “Just Because” from “A Dozen Thoughts”. The font is stunning and the sentiment, itself is wonderful. You never need a reason to let someone know they’re in your thoughts “just because”. I have a few cards to get out this weekend and you can be sure this one will be in the mail by Monday morning. I know it will make my special friend smile.
I created a frame with the Ovals Collection Framelits and the “Pretty Petals” Designer Series Paper Stack. I thought to add a few cropped flowers, but decided to go bold and add the butterfly… something a little different. Of course, I had to sprinkle a few sequins around the frame… I just love those sequins!
So, grab some patterned paper, crop your favorite frame, add a fabulous sentiment and create something smashing to link up with the Pals.
