Today's post is a little different from my norm. Today, Stampin' Up! is celebrating its 25th Birthday. Oh, what I would give to be 25 again!
I've been stamping cards since the late 1990's. My sister had a Stampin' Up! workshop at her home and invited me. I wasn't very interested and had no idea what Stampin' Up! was, but I agreed to go. That was the beginning of my Stampin' story and that story continues through today.
I was getting ready to make a new card for today's post, but I started looking back through all my old Stampin' Up! catalogs and decided to celebrate along with Stampin' Up! and post cards that I made and still have from years ago. These cards were all from 2001 through 2005.
Earlier this year, I paid tribute to all of us who create beautiful hand made cards and celebrated Stampin' Up! as well. Visit that post here.
So without anymore gabbing from me, sit back and take a look. I hope you enjoy these cards as much as I enjoyed making them and posting them today…. they each bring back a fond memory.

AND THE STAMPIN' UP CELEBRATION CONTINUES…. This is a great offer.
Stampin' Up is celebrating its 25th anniversary all year long, but during the week of the actual date (October 25th to be exact) they thought they would pump up the party even more. So what better way than a sale on the very products that started it all: stamps, of course!
Dates: October 22-28, 2013
Offer: Get 25 percent off 25 stamp sets.
What a great showcase of cards, Debbie! That snowman is from Tags and More. It was in my first in my first Stampin’ Up! order!
Thank you, Brian.
I still have that set and couldnt figure it out.
Deb
Deb, the last set is Serene Snowflakes but don’t know which year. It definitely was after they stopped putting the years on the stickers. LOVED your nostalgic gallery!!!!
Wow…How cool is this! I love them all. Especially how you embellished a couple with the cording and those butterflies are way AWESOME! One of my very firsts sets was Leap Frogs and I still have it. I collect frogs and one day I want to try acrylic on the stamps and make a border around my bathroom. I have to read up on it. Thanks for the walk down memory lane. Very neat!
Hi Lynn,
I loved doing this. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
I love those frogs also and still have them. I still have most of my sets…just cant seem to let them go.
Glad you enjoyed the post and I think the frog with acrylic paint would look great.
Ive never tried it, but I think you just use the paint as if it were ink…. you better read up on it, though…dont go by me:)
Thanks again, Lynn.
