Here's to another fun Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge… Garden Green, Gold and Basic Black.
You couldn't imagine how many cropped papers, layers, embellishments, stamp sets and sketches I played with until I came up with today's project.
Of course, the colors were my inspiration, but I had to use gold embossed feathers; some how, some way. I had my feathers inside a frame, on top of a circle, and just sitting there in the center of the card with a button. My challenge today was to somehow work Garden Green into the mix… and that's what color challenges are all about, right?
Oh, and by the way, Stampin' Up!'s "Four Feathers" stamp set and matching framelits made it so easy to create these pretty, perfect feathers.
With a little help from the "Kinda Eclecic" stamp set (a true favorite of mine), I was able to get both my feathers and Garden Green leaves to work together in this card design.
So, grab some cropped feathers, add leaves and a little sparkle and create something beautiful to link up with the Pals.
Hello, I love your card, the starburst in the back of the golden feathers looks so lovely. This stamp set and die bundle are really fantastic.
Thank you for sharing.
Thanks so much for your lovely comment, Maria. It’s very much appreciated. The Feather Bundle and the Kinda Eclectic Stamp Set (which includes the starburst and the leaves) is a real favorite of mine. So glad you line the card.
Light….feathery…..and fabulous!
Hello again, Debbie: I want to thank you for your sweet comment on my blog post with the little Dragon card. I was indeed very lucky my dear aunt found this stamps for me, I was thrilled and wondered why would anybody get rid of them that way.
I’m a very new blogger, just 4 short months, I’m almost 64 y/o so all of this techy stuff is hard for me to understand but, with a lot of help from my friends and my youngest daughter, I was able to create this blog to share this wonderful craft with them.
This was my first PPA challenge and it wont be my last, I’ve participated in other challenges and it’s been fun, I’ve enjoyed the whole process tremendously.
Thank you again for your sweet words, your comments mean the world to me.
