Happy Sunday stampers! It's Spring over at The Paper Players, and I'm writing this post in the middle of another snow storm here in the Northeast. Hopefully, this is the last one.
So, for Laurie's first Theme Challenge and to celebrate the arrival of Spring, I decided on butterflies and a soft color palette.
Butterflies, buttons, bows and a sweet sentiment all combine to create a peaceful card, don't you agree?
The patterned paper is from the "Moonlight" DSP Stack and the sentiment is from "Yippee Skippee". My Soft Sky butterflies are from "Papilion Potpourri" and punched with my "Elegant Butterfly" punch.
So, grab a slice of DSP, add a butterfly, button and bow and create something pretty!
This is so soft and pretty!I love the butterflies…perfect choice for spring. Thanks for playing along at The Paper Players!
Absolutely beautiful, Deb! These colors work so well together. Funny – I used this same sentiment (an oldie, but goodie) for my PP card this week. 🙂
Elegantly beautiful. I love the sentiment.
You made the perfect Spring card! Love your color choices and the pretty bow! We are getting hit with snow today as well. Sure wish this would be the last one but I rather doubt it! Thank you for playing along with the Paper Players theme challenge this week!
Hi Debbie, thank you for your kind words. Yes the snow just started here again… we’re due to get up to another 8 inches. Maybe this will be the last one. What a winter it’s been!! All my best to you. Debbie
Thanks so much, Laurie. Snowing again here in NJ today! Will we ever have our Spring?
What a lovely card Debbie – so delicate and pretty! I love that sentiment too. Thanks for joining us for our Spring Challenge over at The Paper Players this week!
Just gorgeous, Debbie! So soft and pretty…you had me at BLUE! And we are in the midst of another storm today, too! So I am going to stay inside and stamp!! Thanks so much for sharing this with us at the Paper Players this week!
Wow, just WOW! Debbie, this is gorgeous! I love the soft colors with those delicate butterflies. The ribbon treatment is the perfect touch. Thank you so much for joining us this week at The Paper Players! 🙂
Thank you, LeAnne. You know I always love to play along with you all. Hope you enjoyed your “snow day”!
Oh Anne Marie… thank you for your kind words and for choosing my card as a Cut Above this week. I always enjoy playing over at The Paper Players. You’re all a wonderfully talented group.
