It's Sunday, and in New Jersey we have a lot of snow… really… a lot of snow! I'm using my downtime to enjoy some card making and catch up on a few movies I recorded. I wouldn't want this weather all the time, but it's nice to have a few days to not have to be anywhere and it really is pretty out there, but by next week I'm sure I'll be counting the days for some beach weather!
So, with Valentine's Day coming in just a few weeks, I thought I would start on a few Valentine cards. Every year I send a few to some special friends… I really do enjoy writing personal notes and sending hand made cards.
Today's card is clean, simple and the sentiment is sweet. I'm still waiting for my new SU order from the Occasions Catalog, so I'm filling in the blanks with supplies from the Annual Catalog.
Lots of Whisper White gives this card a very "clean" look, and I think the combination of Pool Party and Real Red is great for Valentines. I haven't used my Rhinestone Basic Jewels in a long while so I was happy to "discover" them again for this project. The curvy lines on the patterned paper are a perfect match to the sentiment stamp set, "Hello Life".
So, take a walk back through your stampin' stash and "discover" something that will be "new" to you and create something beautiful!
