I’m back in my craft room today and happy to be here. Yay!

I titled today’s post ” Bewitched And Bewildered”, and I am bewildered. You’ll see why. I’m showcasing both the Gingham Cottage Designer Series Paper and the Bewitching stamp and punch Bundle. Both the patterned paper and stamp set are simple and easy to combine. The Gingham Cottage Designer Series Paper is easy to combine with just about anything and for any occasion or holiday. So, let’s get right to my card.

Today’s Card Parts And Pieces

  • I cut the Basic Black card base 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″.
  • I added a Basic White card front layer that measures 4′ x 5 1/4″.
  • The Basic Black mat layer is 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″.
  • The patterned paper top layer is 3 3/4″ x 5″.
  • I stamped the witch’s hats with Tuxedo Black Memento and Gorgeous Grape ink.
  • I added some color to the hats with Parakeet Party and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends.
  • The Blend coloring process is simple and quick.
  • The Witch’s Hat Punch made creating these hats quick as well.
  • I cut a strip of Basic White cardstock for the sentiment (which is from a retired stamp set called Spooky Cat).
  • Tailor your sentiment strip or label to the sentiment you choose.
  • The circle is the largest in the Stitched Shapes Dies. I die cut it in Daffodil Delight cardstock.

Put It All Together

  • Attach the layers to the card base front as shown.
  • Add the circle to the center of the card with the bottom of the circle about 1 1/2″ inches from the bottom of the card front.
  • Attach the white hat first as shown, then add the black hat. I attach both of these with glue.
  • I attached the polka dot hat with Dimensionals.
  • I punched the star embellishments with the Witch’s Hat Builder Punch.
  • The Basic White inside writing layer is 4″ x 5 1/4″.
  • I stamped the witch’s shoes with Parakeet Party ink and the stars with Daffodil Delight ink.

Are you wondering why I am so bewildered? I’ll tell you now. I couldn’t decide which patterned paper to use. Look at the possibilities below and decide which you like. Maybe a few Gorgeous Grape or Pumpkin Pie stars with this pattern.

For the choice below, I would add Basic White or Gorgeous Grape stars.

So, have some fun with the Bewitching Bundle. It’s great for making multiples. Cut some layers, punch a few witch’s hats and create fun Halloween greetings!

… the only limitation is your imagination!
