Here’s my first Halloween card of for the Season! I, along with others, noticed that Stampin’ Up! didn’t include Halloween Products in the new September-December Mini Catalog. However, they did launch the Potions & Spells Bundle, the Playful Ghosts Stamp Set, and the Haunted Home Kit in the Online Exclusives. You can find theese products in the Online Exclusives herer.
The Halloween Memories Scrapbooking Workshop
Stampin’ Up! has launched a new line of Scrapbooking Products along with the September-December 2024 Mini Catalog, and made these products available to both Demonstrators and Customers as of September 4th.
Although I am a card maker at heart, I love paper crafting. I decided to purchase one of the new Scrapbooking Workshop Kits and use it to create cards and Halloween projects. It was great fun to see and use the new Two-Toned cardstock, to cut some new Designer Series Paper, and create card fronts with a Sticker Sheet.
By the way, I can honestly say that Stampin’ Up! has stayed true to giving us the highest quality in products. Though the new Two-Tone 12″ x 12″ cardstock is a thinner weight than the regular cardstock, it’s smooth, true in color, and a very nice layering weight for card making! The Designer Series Paper is the same high quality we have. The Sticker Sheet is very high quality. Similar to the stickers in the Memories & More Card Packs. I hope this little review helps.
Stampin’ Up! has separated the Halloween Memories Workshop Kit. You can purchase the Halloween Spells 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper and Sticker Sheet separately, and you can add the Halloween Memories 12″ x 12″ Two Tone Cardstock. All of the supplies for the Halloween Memories Workshop Kit are on pages 11 through 15 in the Scrapbooking Brochure. The link is at the end of this post.
I will have more Halloween project inspiration to share in future posts.
So, take a look at how easy it is to make a card.
Parts & Pieces
- I cut a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Pumpkin Pie cardstock and scored it at 4 1/4″. This is the card base.
- The Basic Black Two-Tone Cardstock mat layer is 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″.
- The Halloween Spells Designer Series Paper top layer is 4″ x 5 1/4″.
- The Pumpkin Pie Two-Tone Cardstock circle and the Granny Apple Green DSP circle are die cuts. The larger circle is about 2 7/8″ in diameter, and the smaller is about 2 3/8″ in diameter.
- The large “Halloween” word is a sticker from the Halloween Spells DSP and Sticker Sheet pack.
- I stamped the word “Happy” from the Layers of Beauty Stamp Set. (Annual Catalog).
- The bats are stickers from the Sticker Sheet.
- I added a few Classic Matte Dots to embellish.
That was quick and easy, right?
