Just too cute! They really put a smile on my face. I began getting these ready for the special Trick or Treaters in my neighborhood and thought I would use one in my blog post, but as I was stamping the tags, I couldn’t resist putting all three Googlies together for the picture. I ran the glassine bags through my Big Shot with a “bubbles” folder, stamped the tags with the Googlies, added some googly eyes and bling, attached the tags to the bags with bakers twine, and…complete!
Just a little tip: To get your bakers twine bow evenly at the front of the bag, close the bag and punch two holes about 1/4″ apart at the top centre of the bag. Thread each end of the bakers twine through each hole – both ends will be at the front of the bag – thread one end of the twine through the pre-cut hole in the tag and tie your bow…easy, quick and your bow lays nicely at the front of the bag. I used Stampin’ Up!’s 1/16″ hand held circle punch…perfect!
This is the Ghoulish Googlies Designer Kit from Stampin’ UP!, and I think this is probably one of the best values in the Holiday Catalog. The “Bundle” includes tags, bags, bakers twine, googly eyes and the 6 piece stamp set. All you need is your goodies and you’re set. You can get the details at my Stampin’ Up website http://debbiecrowley@stampinup.net.
Hope you enjoy these as much as I do.
