I'm excited to participate in another Paper Players Challenge. This one's a Sketch Challenge….very simple and clean, so I thought my card should be simple and clean, and it definitely had to be special!
A few posts ago, I featured my very first Iris Folding card. I came to enjoy the elegant simplicity of Iris Folding. I created an Iris Folding heart template and had myself a party! Yep, just me and the template…Fun!
I used Stampin' Up!'s More Amore Designer Series paper from the Spring Catalog, and the Hearts A Flutter framelit from the Hearts A Flutter Bundle. The smaller hearts are from a retired stamp set called "Sweet Talk". I love the Primrose Petals and Pool Party color combination…so soft and pretty.
Oh, by the way…minutes ago, I discovered I was chosen "A Cut Above" by the Paper Players. This is the first time I've received any sort of formal recognition for my card creating! It's very exciting for me! Thank you, thank you Paper Players!
Be sure to visit their blog…there's so many beautiful creations and plenty of talent. You're sure to be inspired!
I hope you enjoy, and remember…
"…the only limitation is your imagination!"
Express your creativity!

Hi Deb – Would you be willing to share which tutorial you used for the Iris Folding technique? Your cards are beautiful and I’d like to give it a try.
Hi Linda:
I just sent you an e-mail. I drew the heart template on a yellow post-it note. It’s my own creation, (not very blog ready on a post-it note) but I’ll be happy to share. The square template I used a few posts ago was from a friend of mine. She will be at my Stamp Club on the 8th, I will ask her. I will scan and e-mail both to you.
Thanks always for your kind words.
Debbie

Congrats on having your work recognized! What a wonderful feeling!! This card is lovely!!
Deb, this is stunning. The iris folding technique was perfect for the cut out heart and the papers you chose are fabulous. My CAS loving heart really appreciates all that fabulous white space you left to frame your work of art.
So glad you joined my challenge at the Paper Players this week and shared this fabulous card with us
