Happy Saturday!
Last night, I held my February Stamp Camp. Wow! What a wonderful group of ladies. There are seven very talented stampers.
I tease that they are a "tough crowd", but they are all so creatively independent! They always take my projects, re-invent them, and the end result is at least three or more versions of a single project. It's always fun to see what they come up with. There's a lot of chatting and some very beautiful card making. I can't wait for next month!
The Flower Sticky Note Tote was one of our projects. I was inspired by one of our Stampin' Pretty Pals, Patti MacLeith. I saw her version and decided to add this project to my Stamp Camp. The ladies loved it. Thank you Patti.
Here's the "how to":
- Cut a 3 1/2" X 11" piece of card stock.
- Score at 5 1/4", 5 1/2" and 5 3/4".
- Emboss on the front side.
- Fold in half and punch holes for the "tote" handle. (Here, we used the 3/4" scallop circle punch.
- Attach the sticky note pad using a piece of sticky strip.
- Add a small piece of adhesive backed Velcro just above one side of the punched "handle".
- Embellish your front.
For the embellishment, I used a Tangerine Tango Scallop Circle layered with a Pool Party flower from the Pop Up Posies Kit, and the 3/4" scallop circle punched from the "tote" handle. It seemed not to be enough, so I added a small punched flower with some Summer Starfruit card stock, and a little bling. Some of the ladies used pearls…very pretty also. Some also used Linen Thread to tie a bow at the "tote" handle…pretty, pretty!
The bottom border is from the Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper cropped using the Scallop Border Punch.
A cute, fun project!
