I always look forward to Sunday mornings when I can view the new Paper Players Challenge. Yesterday, I attended an all day crop, so I missed what's become part of my Sunday morning ritual. I did learn some really neat card design tips and will definitely share them in up-coming posts, but for now…on to this week's Challenge #134; a Sketch Challenge.
A very simple Sketch Challenge, but of course, I had at least three different stamp sets and four different sets of Designer Series Paper (DSP) lined up to decide which to use.
Here I go again…MIDNIGHT MUSE AND PRINT POETRY!! Just too beautiful for me to pass up. Look at the detail in the paisley print…it's gorgeous!
For a CAS (Clean and Simple) card, the detail is amazing. The beautiful scroll work in the "Forever Young" clock stamp is very fine right down to the hands on the clock.
The petite polka dots in the butterflies is perfect, and the script in the Midnight Muse butterflies is stunning.
I added the pearls because I like pearls, but not another embellishment is needed here. By design, I kept the sentiment simple.
The Print Poetry DSP Stack is in the Spring Catalog. Stampin' Up! describes it as "Smashing designs in a fun pad." I agree. It's $6.95 for the entire pad and coordinates with all of the beautiful new 2012-2014 In Colors. It's so worth the purchase.
Happy Stamping!
