Here's my latest Fall card featuring "Truly Grateful".
Funny how certain things can surprise you. I made this card yesterday afternoon to post for The Paper Players Theme Challenge. I just got this stamp set and wanted to try it. Perfect for the Challenge!
At the time I checked the Challenge site, there was nothing posted other than the Design Team posts. I went back to post this card and there were a few posts; the one right before me used the same stamp set and tied the wheat with some Linen Thread just as I did. That card was beautiful, but very similar to mine…we were on the same wave…I laughed out loud! Needless to say, I posted a different Fall themed card and saved this one for today. I suppose all of us stampers think alike!
- Soft Fall colors are featured here and with several cropped banners from Sweater Weather Designer Series Paper;
- One of the Framelits from Apothecary Arts Framelits is a great layer for the wheat stalk – the dimensions are perfect;
- I couldn't resist fussy cutting the Crushed Curry stamped wheat and adding a little Sahara Sand ink highlights with my blender pen;
- This stamp was made for a Linen Thread bow…gives it beautiful dimension;
- The "Truly Grateful" sentiment is stamped with Sahara Sand ink to keep the look soft.
Thanks for stopping by today and I wish you a super stampin' week ahead!
