There's something to be said for friendship. I mean real friendship! No competition, no judgement, just simple sharing, a common bond, and a good laugh now and again.
Stamping and paper crafting is a wonderful form of creative expression for me… I'm fortunate to have a wonderful family, a nice home, and some wonderful stamping friends through my fellow Stampin' Pretty Pals artists. It's through my friendships with some of the Pals that this card was born. I bet you thought I would never get to the card for today, right!
In a recent conversation with one of my Pals friends, we talked about the Stampin' Up! color, Soft Suede. It's a beautiful soft, rich brown… but it's a warm brown, it has lots of warm tones… it really looks like soft suede.
This card was supposed to be Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla, but because I was thinking of my very talented stamping friend, I switched the Basic Black to Soft Suede. So you see, there's something to be said for friendship!
"Warm Christmas Greetings" is a very simple, clean design with lots of warmth and that Soft Suede IS gorgeous! So glad for our conversations, my friend.
Thanks for stopping by today.

What a sweet post! Sounds like you have a truly amazing friend if he (or, maybe, she?) likes Soft Suede so much! What a great inspiration for this lovely Christmas card! The Soft Suede really brings out the warmth of the Cherry Cobbler in this card.
