The Little Things

A simple card for today’s post.  Wow, there’s been a lot going on… busy at work, but it’s a good thing… the Spring selling season is upon us and I’m spending a whole lot of time in my car!  Unfortunately, I can’t stamp in my car, but I do look forward to the time when I can.

I had to keep it a secret, but last month I received an invitation to join Splitcoastampers’ Dirty Dozen Design Team.  Splitcoastampers is by far the largest creative gallery and forum out there and I am both humbled and excited to be part of a group of such talented artisans.

The “reveal” was on March 15th.   After I accepted the invite to the Dirty Dozen Design Team, I received an email from Splitcoasts’ Community Manager, Lydia…. the last sentence of her e-mail was,  “… are you ready for the fastest six months of your life?”  So Lydia… my answer is… yes, I look forward to the experience to stretch and grow, and thank you for the  wonderful opportunity!

This month’s “Dirty Girls” theme is “It’s The Little Things”, so, I created this card to celebrate “simple” and “little”…. the images are little and the sentiment is just “simple”.  A Clean and Simple (CAS) card, without a doubt.  It seems I have a strong attachment to Stampin’ Up!’s “Tim of Cards” stamp set.  I used it in this project and added the little flower from “Flower Patch”.  That little hint of Delightful Dijon wakes this card up, don’t you agree?

I’ve learned how important it is to celebrate “The Little Things” in my life over the past few years, and when life throws you that curve ball, keep smiling and catch it on the curve!

So, find a simple sentiment, add a few little images, and create something sweet to celebrate “The Little Things”!
