Happy Wednesday!  Today’s card is happy and colorful.

I’ve been working on my monthly newsletter, and my blog inspiration was running close to empty.  My Pattern Party Designer Series Paper was nearby and the top pattern was this cute and colorful floral.  The first color I saw in the paper was Poppy Parade. The flowers in the patterned paper reminded me of the flowers in the Pierced Bloom Dies, so I went with them!  I always have so much fun mixing products. Thank goodness Stampin’ Up!’s product coordination doesn’t retire.

I created a cluster of die cut flowers with the Pierced Bloom Dies. The patterned paper was my color inspiration. I attached the flowers to a Basic White layer, but the layer needed a lift.  One of the scalloped frames from the new Color & Contour Bundle was a perfect fit. The scalloped frame is one of the dies in the Scalloped Contours Dies.  If you don’t have this Bundle on your Wish List, make sure it’s at the top.  I think these Dies promise to be a new staple that you will use again and again!

I know most of you have seen the new Color & Contour stamp set and if you haven’t, you’re in for a real treat!  It’s a fun stamp set with mixed font sentiments that I think are amazing.  I thought this sentiment worked well with the patterned paper and stitched blooms. It has an informal, whimsical look, just like the flowers in the patterned paper.

Today’s card is full of color, but a combination of three caught my eye. I decided to add them to my Color Inspiration Palette.

So, take out some colorful patterned paper, add a layer, a cluster of flowers and a whimsical sentiment and create something fun!

…the only inspiration is your imagination!
