I have another Stampin’ Story to share with you. Yesterday, I spent some time with a friend talking about stamping. She showed me a picture of a card she created. She used the large blooms from the True Love Designer Series Paper and brightly colored Stampin’ Blends to create a floral cluster.
I plan a catalog case each week and had my eye on a card in the catalog with a similar layout as the one today. Although the flowers and colors are different, in my mind I saw the design “sketch”. When I combined the layout of the card from the catalog and a floral cluster from the patterned paper, my card today is the result. Of course, it’s blue and yellow…!!
That pretty Balmy Blue patterned paper you see in the background is one of the patterns from the new Subtles Designer Series Paper. It will be available in the new Annual Catalog. Stampin’ Up! created all new designs for the color collections’ matching Designer Series Paper.
You never know from where you’ll get your next bit of inspiration. It can come at any time and from any place.
