Welcome to a new Paper Players challenge week.   Jaydee is hosting a Winter Wonderland Theme Challenge!

Here’s How My Card Came Together

When I think of a “winter wonderland”, snow covered pine trees against a deep blue sky comes to mind.  I created my vision using Stampin’ Up!’s Peaceful Cabin Bundle.  This Bundle is at the top of my all time favorites list and will retire at the end of the current July-December 2022 Mini Catalog on January 3, 2022.   It’s a beautiful set. If you haven’t purchased it, now is a good time.  The retired products are only available while supplies last.

I layered the snow covered trees using the Cabin Dies and Basic White and Night of Navy cardstock.  Behind the front layer of snow covered trees is a second Basic White card layer which I hand cut in a curve. The two Basic White trees are also die cuts from the Cabin Dies. The front layer of trees is attached to the back layer with Dimensionals.

Rather than use the coordinating Peaceful Place Designer Series Paper, I used a pattern from last year’s Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper. I came across a few sheets and decided to use it.

To finish my card, I added a few of the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels for some sparkle on my trees and snow hills.

To me, this sentiment is one of the nicest ways to say “thank you”. It’s from the Peaceful Cabin stamp set.  I’m certain this stamp set will stay within my reach all year because of this sentiment.

So, find a “peaceful” winter night sky patterned paper, layer some snow on a few pine trees, cut a snow hill or two, add some sparkle and create something to link up with us over at the Paper Players.

…the only limitation is your imagination!
