A Countryside Inn Celebration

Last week, I posted a series of cards showcasing the new 2023-2025 In Colors. In that process, I also highlighted some of the new Designer Series Paper. Today, I have a Sneak Peek of one of the new Product Suites, The Countryside Inn Suite Collection.

When I choose colors, I always gravitate toward any shade of blue. It’s no suprise that this Suite would be a favorite of mine. So, let’s talk about this very pretty Product Suite.

Today’s Card Parts And Pieces

My Misty Moonlight cardstock card base has a full front Designer Series Paper layer.
The card front layer design is Night of Navy with a very subtle Misty Moonlight country print.
The Focal Point pattern is a soft country print featuring Balmy Blue, Smoky Slate, and Night of Navy.
This layer is embossed using the coordinating Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder. The Embossing Folder embosses the entire pattern. (It might be hard to see in the photo above). Every detail in the pattern is raised.
The trick to embossing this pattern with the Embossing Folder is to start from the bottom of the DSP. Take a look at the photo below.

Once I embossed the pattern, I die cut it with one of the Countryside Corners Dies.
Using the next largest Countryside Corners Dies, I created a Balmy Blue frame for the embossed Designer Series Paper.
I stamped a strip of Basic White cardstock with one of the frame stamps from the Countryside Corners stamp set and Night of Navy ink, and stamped “Celebrate” from the Framed Florets stamp set insie the frame.
I used one of the Countryside Corners Dies to die cut the sentiment strip.
The sentiment on the inside of the card is from the Something Fancy stamp set.

So, mix a little Night of Navy, Misty Moonlight and Smoky Slate, emboss a “Country Inn” pattern, add a sentiment and create something as peaceful as a Countryside Inn.
