Last week, I visited a local nursery and was in awe of the beautiful pansies. I thought of that as I was putting this card together. Although I’m showcasing one of our new In Colors, Boho Blue, how could I resist a pansy?
My card’s color inspiration is Boho Blue, Orchid Oasis, and Lemon Lolly. Have no doubt that when I saw both Boho Blue and Lemon Lolly, I knew they belonged together.
Today’s Card Parts And Pieces
- I know the photo above is not my typical “parts and pieces” picture, but I forgot to take one. I was so excited to see these pansies paired with the Boho Blue 2023-2025 In Colors Designer Series Paper, that taking a picture of the parts slipped past me.
- Anyway, there are a lot of parts. If you’ve used the Pansy Patch Bundle, you know your die cutting machine will get quite a workout. The Pansy Patch stamp set and Pansy Dies are coming back!
- I cut a Thick Basic White card base 4 1/4″ x 11″, and scored at 5 1/2″.
- The Boho Blue DSP layer is die cut with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies. Unfortunately, they’re leaving us, but they will remain in my craft room, close to my die cutting machine. I’ve used them often.
- The DSP layer is approximately 3 3/8″ x 4 5/8″.
- I die cut the pansies using Boho Blue, Lemon Lolly, and Orchid Oasis cardstock.
- The sentiment is stamped with Boho Blue ink and the layer is die cut with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies.
I stamped one of the sentiments from the Pansy Patch stamp set inside the card and added a strip of Boho Blue Designer Series Paper.
