Looking for inspiration, I once again went to the Annual Catalog. The samples in the current Catalog are amazing. My inspiration for today’s card is on page 53.
Isn’t this a “happy” card? The Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper gave me my color inspiration. I stamped lots of “happy” with coordinating colors from the patterned paper. HAPPY and BIRTHDAY are from the Biggest Wish stamp set. This set has been around for a while and is back with us in the current catalog. When I initially saw this set, I wanted to add it to my collection because I didn’t have anyting like it. Interestingly, I’ve used is over and over. A good investment, for sure.
Today’s Card Parts & Pieces
- My Lemon Lime Twist card base is 4 1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 5 1/2″.
- I added a Basic White mat layer under the Designer Series Paper. It measures 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″.
- The patterned paper layer is 4″ x 5 1/4″.
- I stamped “HAPPY” onto Basic White cardstock. each “HAPPY” layer is 1 1/4″ x 1 3/4″. The BIRTHDAY cardstock layer is 1 1/4″ x 2 1/2″.
- The Lemon Lime Twist Balloon and Berry Burst star are die cuts from the Beautiful Balloons Bundle.
- All of the card front elements are attached with Dimensionals.
- I stamped the inside of the card with a sentiment from the Bright & Beautiful stamp set.
The Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper has beautiful patterns that are perfect for background layers.
So, cut up some fun patterned paper, add a balloon, star, and a BIG sentiment, and create something fun and colorful to sent a Big Wish!
… the only limitation is your imagination!
